Hello! I'm Becca Ripperger, a photographer in Rural, MO. I am a stay at home mom, wife of my animal doctoring, hunting extremist, nature loving Kyle and mom to sweet, sassy, gymnastics loving, Vada, rough and tumble, monster truck man, cuddly Josyah, and energetic, animal loving, fun, mama's girl Reese . I love Jesus, Coffee, Traveling, Nature, Hammocking, Being Barefoot, Riding Horses, Fuzzy Blankets, Fall Campfires, Gardening & Home Renovation Projects. We live on a lil hobby farm with lots of animals and a small cut flower garden where I sell summer bouquets and dabble in wedding arrangements for the people I love.
Photography has been a love of mine since...forever! My interest sparked as a freshman in high school when I took a film photography class. I loved finding the beauty of insignificant things. I loved the smell of the developer and stop bath on my hands. I loved the reflection of life appearing on each page. I loved the monochrome framed images that covered my bedroom walls. I loved the connection I developed with my subjects. I dabbled for a long time, taking photos of my adventures and travels with friends. Then in 2015, as children's director at our church, I needed to raise some money for my kiddos to go to summer camp. I made a flyer, booked sessions, and it exploded. Year after year, those same families asked me to take their photos. Christmas cards, birthday sessions, family gathering, seniors, weddings, babies....lots of babies!!!
Photography for me is about the connection of people, images, memories, and feeling. Photography: the art of Captivating a moment and making it last.
